Where The Most Dissatisfied Drivers Are Located

The most unhappy drivers can be found on north Britain's roads. They are dissatisfied with the condition of the roads as well as the high prices they are forced to pay for gas. In a survey, the Driver Satisfaction Index showed that 93 percent of people who are driving in the north are unhappy with the amount of money they are paying to fill their gas tanks. The same survey also discovered that 54 percent of people were disappointed with the driving conditions they are forced to endure on the roads. When the survey was given to the rest of the country, it was found that 82 percent of the drivers were dissatisfied with the price of petrol and the roads.
The price of petrol and the condition of the roads are not the only reasons that people in the north are dissatisfied with the state of driving today. The prices people are paying for their car insurance premiums are considered to be too high for 83 percent of the drivers. They do not believe by a 78 percent margin that their government cares about their concerns in this area. This study was performed by both Motors.co.uk and YouGov in order to determine what is making drivers unhappy in Great Britain.
Phill Jones, commercial director of Motors.co.uk, recently commented, "A car is and always will be a necessity for consumers, who rely more than ever on their vehicle to get form A to B. This is only made possible by a car that is realistically affordable to run, and by increasing taxes and reducing investment the Government are damaging a part of the economy which is vital to future growth."
As the survey was taken to the rest of the country, it revealed that 51 percent of the people driving on the roads did not like how many potholes they encounter. The survey also demonstrated that 81 percent of people who purchase gas for their vehicles did not like the prices they had to pay for it. 50 percent of this group of people expressed their dissatisfaction with the premiums they are paying for car insurance, and 26 percent believe that work on the roads is not at as high a level as it needs to be.
The point of YouGov's survey was to demonstrate how happy or unhappy people are driving in Great Britain. The sample amounted to 2,000 adults with 1,646 being people who had driven on the roads on April 14 and April 15.
